looking from head towards the feet. the center of each picture is the top of the new-vagina. Picture on left is a revision surgery. Picture on the right is a primary surgery with a retractor instrument in the vaginal cavity created from down below. The peritoneal flap has been developed and is attached at the bottom. We open the top of the new vaginal area and pull the peritoneal flap down into the vaginal cavity to line the full length. Then we will close the top of the vagina so that it is separated and closed to the abdominal cavity.
