Regular follow-up after surgery is suggested. For larger surgeries, we prefer to see patients every 3 months for the first year, then annually as needed. This may be difficult for patients who live out of town, and we understand this. If this is the case, video and phone follow-ups are an option.

Patients are also encouraged to establish care with a local provider and/or return to our clinic should they have issues or concerns.

Insurance billing after post-op recovery: Standard follow up visits outside the 12 week global period following surgery, will be billed to insurance. Some smaller revision surgeries may have a shorter global period for billing. If you have any questions about billing after surgery, please ask call our office. We are happy to help!
